PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Integrity Services & Consulting, Bridgewater, MA

Founder & President (2015 to Present)

Concurrent with running Integrity Construction and Development, consult with healthcare, software, restoration, and construction companies to improve business performance and revenue generation capabilities. Assist company owners and senior leaders to forecast and track expenses, create and share their vision and align employees accountabilities with the company vision and goals. Consulting engagements include:

  • Trained the GM, owner, and office manager of a $20M restoration company doing business in Virginia and North Carolina to effectively analyze WIP and other financial reports to improve and measure profit performance. Helped company leadership to develop employee incentives to better tie total rewards to business impact
  • Mentored the owner of a $2M Texas-based restoration company to better measure business performance and establish a roadmap to growth 
  • Consulted to a $16M California-based restoration company to build financial and operating models that included enhanced work in progress (WIP) reports and improved emphasis on capturing accurate job cost data. Helped build organizational chart for the 98 employees to drive departmental efficiencies
  • Built the financial model for a $3M contractor to improve forecasting and tracking of expenses
  • Guided a $5M restoration company in Connecticut to build out their reconstruction division. Initiative included implementing job costing and purchase order systems, developing a compensation incentive program, and developing the business model to clarify future growth strategy
  • Built a business model and sales strategy for a $1M abatement company, which included improved revenue and overhead forecasts. Formalized structure of weekly meetings and reporting to focus on measuring and adjusting for YTD performance vs. goal for sales, production, and deposits
  • Coached the owner of a $2M mitigation company on financial literacy. Partnered with the team to build a financial business model to clarify breakeven points and improvement opportunities

BluSky Restoration, Carver, MA

Vice President (July 2021 to November 2022)

Retained following BluSky’s acquisition of Integrity Construction to integrate Integrity and RebuildEx into the new system. Transitioned 30+ acquired employees and sub-contractors to comply with BluSky’s policies for delivering its commercial restoration, renovation, environmental, and roofing services across the US. Hired and onboarded over a dozen new team members to position the office for continued future growth.

  • Spearheaded growth from $17M to $27M in revenue the first 12 months after the acquisition. Attained the entire 2022 revenue projection by end of Q3 2022
  • Partnered with the executive team to successfully integrate complementary businesses in Hartford,  CT and Woburn, MA
  • Offered the opportunity to take a regional role at the corporate office prior to committing 100% to Integrity Services, and to pursue a passion for mentoring fellow reconstruction and restoration company leaders to operate more profitably

Integrity Construction & Development, Bridgewater, MA

Founder & President (2015 to 2021)

Managed a staff of nine office and 30+ tradespeople for a restoration company serving MA, RI, NH, VT, and ME. Ensured effective execution of estimates, finance, administration, and business development Developed and executed strategies to generate new business, identified trade partnerships, and built referral channels. Ensured projects were delivered on time, on budget, and to clients’ quality standards. Developed all standard operating procedures and project governance policies. 

  • Successfully sold the business to BluSky Restoration in July of 2021
  • One of only seven restoration companies in the US (of 150+) to earn a 2021 Guildmaster Quality Award that recognizes 98% customer satisfaction based upon professionalism, communication, installation crew, materials quality, cleanliness, safety, and issue resolution. Client survey response rate was 60% vs. 50% survey threshold
  • Opened a second office in Concord, NH in 2020 based on recommendations from payers to address a shortage of quality contractors in that market. Acquired a fully staffed office and referral pipeline which added ~$1.0M+ in income to the $4.0M generated by the Bridgewater location in 2021
  • Increased volume to $4.65M (280 projects) in 2020, despite closing for six weeks for COVID in a year that saw a 40% drop in insurance claims industry wide
  • Grew sales to $4.6M in 2019, despite the industry experiencing the fewest damage claims in several decades, by earning preferred vendor status with most major insurance companies
  • Earned $2.7M in revenue in 2017, the first full year of restoration operations. Increased revenue to $4.2 in 2018 by developing referral pipelines with restoration-mitigation companies, insurers, and other professional contacts.
  • Grew the business to handle 100+ claim adjustments and generating $1M+ in total annual revenue in 2016
  • Founded the company in July of 2015 as an insurance adjustment firm and construction company to satisfy the terms of a two year non-compete.

RebuildEx, Carver, MA

Vice President of Operations (2010 to 2015)

Managed day-to-day operations for this insurance restoration contractor organization including, finance, HR, field operations, customer service, and business development. Managed relationships with sub-contractors, insurance third-party administrators (TPA), and the 800 Board Up franchisor. Developed and evolved one, three, and five-year business plans including financial models. Created and executed staff development strategies to ensure the company had proper talent in place to achieve business goals.

  • Grew sales from $3.4M in 2010 to $8.7M in 2014 by securing new key accounts with USAA, Alacrity, and multiple independent property managers
  • Introduced process improvement and performance management programs that produced 100% increases in net profit in both 2013 and 2014
  • Procured and implemented the Foundation accounting platform in 2010. Introduced custom financial reports in Foundation to facilitate delivery of accurate real-time information to executive stakeholders
